Former Arsenal star Mesut Ozil took to his social media space to share update on his operation.
The former Germany international was pictured lying on the hospital bed as he confirmed that the operation was a success.
If you recall that Mesut Ozil underwent an operation on his back injury, he is expected to be out for several weeks.
Sharing the Twitter post, he captioned: "Today's surgery went well ✅🙏🏼 Thanks again to everyone for your messages & prayers - May God bless you all"
Mesut Ozil is currently playing as a professional footballer for Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir.
