Margret Obano, who is 22-year-old has been arrested by the Lagos state police command in Bariga area of the state.
It was gathered that the primary school teacher was arrested for allegedly brutalizing her two-year-old daughter and burning her buttocks.
The neighbours of Margret raised an alarm over the incident which happened on Friday, October 14, 2022.
Giving an update on the incident, Lagos police spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest of the woman and her partner.
He said; “They have been arrested and detained at the Bariga Police Station and her daughter has been hospitalised
