Arsenal's Mikel Arteta has provided injury update on Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Martinelli.
The Gunners are currently preparing for their Europa League clash with PSV on Thursday night.
Arsenal face the Eredivisie side on Thursday October 20th for the rescheduled game. If you recall that the match was scheduled last month September but was postponed due to burial ceremony of late Queen Elizabeth II.
Mikel Arteta took charge of their final training session at the London Colney this Wednesday afternoon.
While speaking to the media, Mikel Arteta speaks about Oleksandr Zinchenko calf injury.
The 25-year-old Ukraine international hasn't featured for Arsenal since their North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur in September. Recall that Zinchenko joined Arsenal this summer from Manchester City.
Although, the fullback has been struggling with calf injury but Arteta believes he'll be back before the World Cup break in November.
When asked if Arteta was worried about Zinchenko current injury, he revealed: "No, I don’t think so. Obviously, he had a current injury in his calf and that’s why he’s been out for this period"
Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli was also missing from their training this afternoon.
The 21-year-old Brazilian has been enjoying great run for Arsenal so far this term.
But Mikel Arteta remain hopeful that Martinelli could still be available to face PSV.
He said: "No they are not ruled out, but we will see tomorrow what we decide."
Gabriel Martinelli has scored four goals with two assists after 10 games for Arsenal in the Premier League.
