Nigerian striker Victor Oshimen scored hat-trick as Napoli thrashed Sassuolo in their Serie A clash on Saturday.
Napoli have continued to extend their lead at the top of Serie A table following their 4-0 win over Sassuolo at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium.
The 23 years old striker scored his seventh goal of the season from eight games in the Serie A.
Victor Osimhen has now scored in 4 consecutive games since he returned from hamstring injury.
Oshimen put Napoli in the lead after 4 minutes into the game before adding his second in the 19th minutes.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia made it three in the 36 minutes to put Naples side in the comfortable lead heading into the half time.
In the second half, Napoli continues to dominate the possession and they were rewarded with their fourth in the 77 minutes.
This time, Victor Oshimen completed his hat-trick and he was pictured pulling off his face mask during the goal celebration.
Oshimen has been wearing the protective mask since he was involved in a head injury last year.
The Nigerian striker sustained an eye socket injury against Inter Milan in November 22, 2021 at San Siro.
