Jose Mourinho side needed goals from Paulo Dybala and Chris Smalling to turn the game around.
Dimarco had give the Nerazzurri the lead in the 30 minutes. He arrives in the box to slot a low shot past the poorly positioned Patricio and into the bottom corner.
But Roma equalised nine minutes later from Dybala. The Argentine international has missed to clear chances prior to his goal.
In the 39 minute, Dybala turns home Spinazzola's swinging cross with a volley that squirms past Handanovic at the near post.
The turn around was completed in the 75 minutes with Chris Smalling header.
Smalling plant a powerful header into the back of the net from a free kick from Pellegrini.
