Mfon Jeremiah, 39 year old, who happens to be a resident of FIRRO Estate off Adesan, Mowe has been arrested by Ogun state Police Command for impregnation his own daughter.
It's been gathered that the said suspect impregnated his 13 year old biological daughter(name withheld).
It was said that the mother of the victim reported that case after she discovered that her daughter was pregnant for her said husband.
Reports claims that the 13 years old girl was confirmed that she is four months pregnant.
Meanwhile DPO Mowe division, SP Folake Afeniforo, said that the suspect confessed to being responsible for his daughter's pregnancy.
Although, Mfon claimed to be under spell when he did the act. According to him, he said that he was dreaming of having sex with his wife who has separated from him for some time now, unknowing to him it was her daughter that he had sex with.
The spokesperson of the state police command, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, has directed that the suspect be transferred to anti human trafficking and child labour unit of the state Criminal Investigation Departments for further investigation.
