The Three Lions of England started their World Cup 2022 campaign on a winning run after comfortable victory against Iran.

Coach Gareth Southgate handed the match day to the youths and they didn't disappoint the coach as they gave a five star match performance.




It was a 6-2 victory for England over Iran in their opening group B clash pm Tuesday in their World Cup clash in Qatar.

Arsenal's Bukayo Saka was the man of the match scoring twice to kick off his goals tally in the FIFA World Cup competition.



The 21 years old was handed his first call up for the World Cup this term and he started on the right hand side of the field.




Saka has been one of the key players at Arsenal this season under Mikel Arteta who are sitting on top of the Premier League table.


Taking to his verified Instagram page (@bukayosaka87),he shared image of himself posing with his man of the award with the caption which reads: "What A Feeling"







Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham scored the opening goal for England before Saka and Raheem Sterling made it 3-0 heading into the half time break.

Saka got his brace in the 62cminites before Taremi pulled a goal back for Iran.

But Marcus Rashford and Jack Grealish came off the bench to score and extend the England's lead.
