Atiku Abubakar who happens to be PDP Presidential candidate has reacted to Arsenal's victory over London rivals Chelsea.

The Gunners claimed 1-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday in their Premier League match day 13.

Gabriel Magalhaes scored the winner for Arsenal against Chelsea in the 63 minutes for Mikel Arteta side moved back to the top of the Premier League table. 

Meanwhile Presidential flagbearer for the People's Democratic Party in Nigeria and former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar took to social media has praise Arsenal after the win.

The 75-year-old politician and businessman, is a huge fan of the north London side and he has often showcased his support.

Taking to his official Twitter, Atiku wrote: "Great win, Arsenal, even after a goalless first half." 

Atiku also said that he remains hopeful that Nigeria will recover from all negative situations. 

He added: "As Arsenal did in this game for we, the fans, we will also Recover Nigeria for Nigerians. -AA"
