Atletico Madrid winger, Matheus Cunha heartbroken after being left out of Brazil's World Cup squad

Atletico Madrid winger Matheus Cunha was left heart broken after he missed out of the Brazil squad for the World Cup. 




The 23 years old forward was left out of Brazil's 26-man squad for this winter's Qatar World Cup following Tite announcement on Monday, November 7th 2022.

The Seleaco have revealed their squad of 26 players ahead of the FIFA tournament which is expected to kick off on November 20th. 

Cunha posted a video of his reaction to Instagram, where he was seen happy.

If you recall that 23-year-old forward joined Atletico Madrid last summer from Hertha Berlin for a reported £22 million.




Although he has failed to find the net in 23 appearances for club and country.

He commented on the clip, saying: “To everyone who keeps sending me messages, thank you. It was hard, it was painful, but that's part of it. Our selection is spectacular and the competition is very great.

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and we will be cheering you on."
