Senegal international Sadio Mane has missed the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after an injury.

The 30 years old has underwent a surgery in Munich to repair his torn tendon.

Senegal fans were left heart broken due to Mane mission the competition despite being included in the 26 man World Cup squad.

Meanwhile, Sadio Mane was seen for the first time walking with the help of clutches.

The Bayern Munich star Mane was seen walking while dressed in a black hoodie, a white short, two pairs of white sneakers, and clutches.

Recall that Sadio Mane suffered a tear on his right fibula during a match against Werder Bremen.

Although Bayern Munich won 6-1 on November 8, 2022 but the Senegal international played just first half before he walked out of the pitch in the 20^th minute.

Bayern Munich had revealed that Sadio Mane had undergone successful knee surgery in Austria on November 17, 2022.

Bayern Munich confirmed that Mane underwent surgery by doctors from London, whose identities are Prof. Christian Fink and Dr. Andy Williams.

The former Liverpool star has travel back to Germany to start his rehab ahead of the second half of the season once the World Cup ends in December.

How the injury forced Sadio Mane out of the World Cup
