Chelsea star Mason Mount got the opportunity to meet his sister's daughter during the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The English midfielder has been having a great campaign at the FIFA competition this year haven featured in England's two group games.
Mason Mount was called up into coach Gareth Southgate's world cup squad, he made his debut for England in their 6-2 thumping of Iran on opening group B game
After the game, Chelsea star Mason Mount met his sister’s three-year-old daughter.
From the image, Mason Mount was seen carrying his niece on his shoulder with a smile on his face.
Mount’s sister Stacey who lives in Australia had given birth to his niece Poppy three years ago.
Due to the strict lockdown rules in Australia, and Mason’s football schedule with Chelsea, he wasn't able to visit her.
Stacey who was excited took to her social media space and she wrote: “After 3 1/2 years, I got to see my little bro and Poppy meet her uncle Mason for the first time and what a day!
“I cannot even express what a proud big sister I am. All these years of hard work and dedication .”
