Former Manchester City captain, Vincent Kompany has been named October manager of the month in the Championship.

Burnley manager Vincent Kompany has been named the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month for October.

The former Belgium international who is current manager of Burnley has been enjoying his start to his managerial life.

Vincent Kompany who managed Belgian side Anderlecht last term, took charge of the Claret after they were relegated under Sean Dyche last season.

During the month of October, Burnley secured two comeback wins as they amassed 18 points from eight unbeaten games and moved top of the Championship.
