"I haven't spoken to Ronaldo since Manchester United terminated his contract" - Casemiro

Brazilian midfielder Casemiro has revealed that the Manchester United players are sad about Cristiano Ronaldo exit.

Recall that the club agreed to terminate Ronaldo contract after his bombshell interview in which he accused Man United of disrespecting him.

The 37-year-old who has been unhappy at United since the arrival of Erik Den Hag from Ajax, came out in an interview with media personality Piers Morgan to Slam the club.

Ronaldo outburst in the one on one interview as made United terminate his deal with immediate effect.

Meanwhile, Casemiro who is a close friend of Ronaldo since their days at Real Madrid said he hasn't spoken to the player since the incident.

“I haven’t exchanged any messages with him but Cristiano is a really experienced guy and knows what’s good for his career,” Casemiro told reporters in Qatar.

“Of course we’re sad, especially in Manchester, because you’re talking about one of the best players in history.

“Cristiano is a grown-up and knows what’s best for him.”
