Sadio Mane has continued to show his support for his national team despite missing the tournament due to an injury.
The 30 years old was initially included in Senegal 26 man squad for World Cup in Qatar despite carrying an injury. But a second scan confirmed that the former Liverpool star will require surgery and will not be available for the tournament.
Recall that Sadio Mane suffered injury during Bayern Munich 6-1 victory over Werder Bremen, weeks to the 2022 World Cup. He played 20 minutes in the game and he was replaced by Leroy Sane.
Mane injured his right fibula but has underwent a surgery in Munich where he's currently rehabilitating.
The 30 years old striker spotted watching Senegal's World Cup opener against Netherlands on Thursday.
Senegal lost 2-0 in their opening game of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, after goals from goals from Cody Gakpo and Davy Klaassen to ensured that the current African Nations Cup Champions lost at Al-Thumama Stadium on Monday evening.
The Bayern Munich attacker was spotted holding a plate of food with his left hand, while the right was on his chest as he watches his country National anthem.
