The Paris Saint-Germain star, Lionel Messi is expected to the Argentine national team in Qatar.
Lionel Messi will make his fifth appearance in a FIFA World Cup in their opening group game against Saudi Arabia.
The 35-year-old forward made his FIFA World Cup debut in 2006 in a group stage game against Serbia and Montenegro, scoring and assisting a goal each.
Lionel Messi has also appeared in 2010, 2014, and 2018 editions with the Argentine national team. Although Messi came close in the 2014 in Brazil when Argentina lost in extra time to Germany after Mario Gotze scored the only goal.
2. Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal):
Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, will led the Portugal national team in Qatar. Fernando Santos men have touched down in Doha, Qatar ahead of their opening game.
Cristiano Ronaldo will make fifth appearance in the competition when they face the Black Stars of Ghana in their opening group game.
3. Guillermo Ochoa (Mexico):
Guillermo Ochoa is one of the few players who will make the fifth appearance at the FIFA competition. Ochoa made his debut as the Mexican shot-stopper in the 2006 World Cup.
