Media Personality Piers Morgan has reacted to Cristiano Ronaldo comment about being asked to come into the game with three minutes left.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been under the spotlight since the past few days due to his bombshell interview.
The 37-year-old conducted an interview with media Personality Piers Morgan, which was released on Talk TV.
The Portugal international criticized the club over the way he's being treated since he arrived last year.
Cristiano Ronaldo addressed th situation where he walked into tunnel before full time against Tottenham Hotspur.
It was learnt that Erik Den Hag asked Ronaldo to come into the game with three minutes left.
Ronaldo refused and he walked into tunnel, although he was fined and suspended from training.
Speaking to Piers Morgan, he said he regret his action and he apologize to his team.
The former Real Madrid star said that he felt disrespected after he was told to come on with few minutes left.
Ronaldo said: "Not allowed for me, a coach to put me in three minutes in a game. Sorry, I'm not that kind of player".
Meanwhile, Piers Morgan asked whether several players such as "Lionel, Pele, Maradona, Zidane, Cruyff, Bergkamp" being told to come on with 3 minutes left.
The UK OAP asked: "Has Messi ever been told to come on with 3 minutes left and his team winning 2-0? Or Pele? Or Maradona? Or Zidane? Or Cruyff? Or Bergkamp?"
