(Photos) Joao Cancelo was spotted in heated exchange with manager Pep Guardiola after he was sent off and gave away a penalty during their clash with Fulham

Manchester City star Joao Cancelo was sent off during their home game against Fulham FC. 

Pep Guardiola side hosted the Cottagers in their match day 14 fixture at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday November 4th 2022. 

Cancelo gave away a penalty and was sent off for a foul against Harry Wilson. 

Manchester City took the lead after Julian Alvarez scored the opening goal to put his team 1-0.

But Marco Silva men got their chance to equalise after Cancelo was sent off. 

The Portugal international pushed Harry Wilson in the back with the Cottagers forward through on goal. 

This prompted Referee Darren England pointed straight to the spot and subsequently dismissed the Portuguese defender.

Meanwhile Guardiola doesn't look to be happy with Cancelo decision to challenge a player in the box. 

The City boss was seen having a heated exchange with Cancelo who walked into the tunnel.
