Sadio Mane set to miss the World Cup after he limped off during Bayern Munich clash with Werder Bremen.
The 30 years old played 20 minutes at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night before he walked out of the pitch.
Bayern Munich extended their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table after 6-1 win over Werder Bremen.
Reportminds Blog understands that Mane is believed to have suffered a tendon injury which could see him miss out from coach Aliou Cisse World Cup squad.
Senegal will face Netherlands, Ecuador and hosts Qatar in their group A games.
Meanwhile popular sport journalist Fabrizio Romano has provided update on Mane injury.
Fabrizio says that the former Liverpool star will undergo further test and he will miss Bayern Munich final game against Schalke before the World Cup kick off.
He tweeted: "Official Bayern statement on Sadio Mané 🚨🇸🇳 #WorldCup2022
“Sadio Mané has picked up an injury and he won’t be available for game against Schalke. Further tests will follow in the next few days — Bayern is in contact with the medical team of Senegalese Football Association”.
