Enner Valencia has generated reactions after he scored twice on the opening game of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. 

Ecuador recorded 2-0 win over the host nation, Qatar at the Al Bayt stadium on Sunday in their group A fixture. 

Enner Valencia grabbed the headlines with his man of the match performamce for Ecuador against Qatar on Sunday.

Fenerbahce forward netted a brace inside the first half to put La Tricolor in charge of Group A against the host nation. 

The 33-year-old could have gotten a hat trick after seeing a goal disallowed for offside just seconds into the match. 

Valencia scored the first goal from a penalty in the 16th minute after he was brought down in the area before powerfully heading home shortly after the half-hour mark.

Meanwhile, Turkish side, have raised further reactions after photoshop image ó Enner Valencia along with trending image of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo playing chess. 

If you recall on Saturday, Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi uploaded a photo of themselves sitting for a game of chess on a Louis Vuitton bag ahead of the World Cup.

Fenerbahce shared the photoshopped image with Valencia sitting in the background.

 In the photo, the striker was spotted holding a coffee and smiling as Messi and Ronaldo stare at the chessboard.
