Real Madrid thrashed Celtic 5-1 in their Group F UEFA Champions League clash on Wednesday night. 


Real Madrid host Celtic in their final group stage match in the UEFA Champions League clash on Wednesday night.

The Los Blancos have already qualified for the round of 16 as they currently lead Group C with 13 points.

Carlo Ancelotti have welcomed back their captain and lead striker Karim Benzema who makes the bench for the game.



Karim Benzema is named amongst the substitutes for Real Madrid. The French man has missed their last two games due to injury.

Carlo Ancelotti side have secured top spot in the group following their stunning result. 

Penalties from Luka Modric and Rodrygo put Real Madrid in the two goals lead in the first half. 


In the second half, Celtic were awarded a spot-kick themselves but Josip Juranovic missed. 


Before Marco Asensio, Vinicius Junior and Federico Valverde all scored for Real Madrid to establish five goals lead.

Substitute Jota got a consolation for Celtic with an impressive free-kick.
