Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has made a surprise visit to Ukraine to meet with the country’s president Volodymyr Zelensky.
The visit comes after a missile hit a Polish village close to the Ukrainian border, initially sparking concerns Russia had struck a Nato member state.

Prime Minister has vowed to continue the close partnership with Mr Zelensky seen under Boris Johnson, who championed the Ukrainian cause and made multiple visits during his time as Prime Minister.
He has promised Ukraine a £50 million package of defence aid.
