Senegal international Cheikhou Kouyate was forced after a injury he suffered in their 2-0 defeat to Netherlands.
The Nottingham Forest midfielder forced off the pitch after a freak incident involving Frenkie de Jong.
Goals from Cody Gakpo and Davy Klaassen ensured that Louis Van Gaal claimed their three points.
23-year-old Gakpo broke the deadlock for the Orjane after he stole through the middle and beat Edouard Mendy to a cross from De Jong to send a glancing header into the net in the 84th minute.
Kouyate injury came after he tussled for the ball, De Jong began to fall to ground and ended up trying to grab on to the worst area possible as he did.
Kouyate was clearly left in an enormous amount of pain and the stretcher had to come on to remove him from the game.
