Gabriel Jesus may not be fit to play for Arsenal until the end of March 2023 after undergoing knee surgery.

Bad news: Jesus may not return till March for Arsenal after knee surgery

The Brazilian was previously anticipated to be out until the end of February, but it now looks he would be out for an additional month.

If you recall that the 25-year-old picked up the knee injury during Brazil World Cup game against Cameroon in Qatar. 

Although, Jesus has underwent a successful surgery and he is currently recuperating well. 

Mikel Arteta now has a tough challenge in the race for the Premier League standings and must find a substitute for Jesus.

Gabriel Jesus joined Arsenal this summer from Manchester City for fee in the region of 45m pounds. 

The Brazilian forward has, scored five goals so far for the Gunners who are sitting on top of the Premier League table. 

When the Gunners take on West Ham on Boxing Day, it will be the first time they have played without Jesus.
