Ben White's World Cup exit followed a major bust-up with Steve Holland, according to reports

Reportminds.com understands that Arsenal's Ben White left the England camp at World Cup after a burst up with assistant manager, Steven Holland.

The 25-year-old was included in coach Gareth Southgate World Cup 2022 squad in Qatar.

But last week, Southgate confirmed that Arsenal defender has withdraw from the competition and wasn't due to injury.

Ben White's World Cup exit followed a major bust-up with Steve Holland, according to reports

According to reports, a fight between Ben White and England assistant manager Steve Holland led to White's departure from the World Cup team midway through the competition in Qatar.

White, 25, did not participate in any of England's three group games before departing the Qatari training facility on November 30 for "personal reasons," according to a statement from the FA. He won't be going back to Qatar, and Southgate didn't call up a replacement, so he is now one man short.

The Daily Star has now reported that the argument between the Arsenal defender and Holland, Southgate's deputy manager, was the reason for the player's departure.

According to the newspaper, White did not get along with his teammates at England's Al Wakrah training facility.

Holland and White reportedly fell out in Qatar

According to the story, Holland and White got into it after the defender showed up to a team meeting before the England-USA match without knowing critical information about his own statistics or the team's opponents.

The decision was then reached to permit White to return home, despite the fact that he had not yet participated in any of England's games.

White also skipped the Gunners' warm-weather training camp in Dubai during the World Cup.

Before the World Cup break, the defender started all 14 Premier League games for his team, guiding them reach the league's top spot and earning him a call-up to Southgate's 26-man squad for Qatar.

Arsenal posted a Tweet in support of White when his departure from the England camp was announced

'We ask that the player's privacy is respected at this moment in time,' the FA statement said.

His club then tweeted: 'We're all with you, Ben.' Several Arsenal players have since posted messages of support to the 25-year-old on social media.
