Legendary Newcastle player Alan Shearer has commented on this season's title competition between Manchester City and Arsenal.
Man City is presently sitting in second place in the Premier League, five points behind league-leading Arsenal.
The team led by Pep Guardiola defeated Leeds United on Wednesday with Erling Haaland scoring twice in their 3-1 win at Elland road.
On the other side Mikel Arteta side thrashed West Ham with same 3-1 scoreline, scoring all three goals under 20 minutes in the second half.
Shearer asserted on Amazon Prime Video that Man City can narrow the scoreboard difference with Arsenal.
He said, “They are a very good team, and we knew they would not be fazed by the gap that was facing them before the game.
“They have had it before; they will close it down I am sure they will have something to say about that.
“They have got to perform, score goals and do exactly what they did tonight.
“They are not under pressure, they know exactly what they need to do and I think they will do it if they perform like that, with De Bruyne and with that guy [Erling Haaland] up front, they have got an incredible chance.”
