On Saturday night, Arsenal will play a Premier League game at Brighton's Amex Stadium to end the year 2022.

The Gunners are currently sitting on top of the Premier League table with 40 points as they could extend their lead with a win against Seagulls.

If you recall that Boxing Day saw the Gunners defeat West Ham United 3-1 after coming from behind, while on the South Coast, the Seagulls defeated Southampton by the same score in their respective game.

Although, Mikel Arteta has the dealt serious blow of Gabriel Jesus who is out for three months due to injury.

Ahead of the Brighton clash, Arsenal's injured players Gabriel Jesus (knee) and Reiss Nelson (thigh) are still out.

While Emile Smith Rowe, who underwent groin surgery in September, might finally return. The 23-year-old English forward reported to training in Friday but the game this evening could be too early for him.

Oleksandr Zinchenko, who has a history of injuries, is fit and ready to compete with Tierney for the left-back position.

Likewise right full-back Takehiro Tomiyasu who has recover from his most recent hamstring injury in time. Although Mikel Arteta could decide to stick with Ben White who played 90th-minute against West Ham.

In the attack for Arsenal, Eddie Nketiah is expected to keep his place at least until the Gunners sign another striker who can replace Jesus.

Nketiah scored a fine goal in their victory against West Ham and he could do the same at home against Brighton Hove Albion.
