Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has now discussed his path to management.

Arsenal will resume their excellent Premier League campaign in a matter of days.

With an end goal to expand their noteworthy lead at the highest point of the table, they take on West Ham Joined on Boxing Day.
Without Gabriel Jesus, who suffered serious injuries while playing in the World Cup, Arteta won't be able to accomplish this.

However, before competitive play resumes, the remainder of the Arsenal team has returned in good shape and has participated in three practice sessions.

While speaking with Jamie Carragher on Sky Sports News, Arteta discusses his relationship with Guardiola.

“We met when I was 15 years old, he was my idol, he was the one to try to emulate if I wanted to be a first team player at Barcelona,” Arteta said.

“We built that relationship from there.

“And then it was weird because when I was still playing he was Barcelona manager and Bayern Munich manager, he used to call me to ask about English teams.

“[He would ask], ‘How would you play against that’, and we built that relationship and one day he was very clear to me, ‘the day that I’m in England, I want you’.

’I have a dream is to do what I did at Barcelona in this league when everybody says that it’s impossible to do. And I would like your help and support and experience to help me to achieve that dream’.”
