Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe has revealed that he doesn't feel disturbed about Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez mocking him.
The 24-year-old returned for PSG in their home game against Strasbourg on Wednesday night, where he scored the winner as they recorded 2-1 win.
Even though Argentina celebrated Kylian Mbappe's victory in the World Cup final, he remained a topic of conversation for the majority of the following week.
It wasn't because he scored a hat trick. Most of it was about Emiliano Martinez's celebrations. On different events, the Aston Manor goalkeeper volunteered to take advantage of Mbappe after the last.
Martinez would then interrupt the celebrations in the locker room to observe a moment of silence for Mbappe, despite being one of the first to assist him in getting to his feet. He was seen holding a baby with Mbappe's face in his arms during the parade of open-top buses.
Mbappe went back to Paris Saint-Germain just three days later, and he first said what he had said to teammate Lionel Messi after their 2-1 win over Strasbourg.
The PSG star has revealed that he congratulated his club mate, Lionel Messi after the final against Argentina.
“I spoke with Messi after the game, I congratulated him. It was important for him, for me too, but I lost and you have to show maturity to congratulate [the other team].”
Kylian Mbappé also revealed that he doesn't feel bothered about Emiliano Martinez mocking him.
He said: “The celebrations are not my problem. I don’t spend energy on such trivial things. The most important thing for me is to give my best for my club.”
