Paris Saint-Germain star, Lionel Messi has raised reacrions from his fans after he uploaded snaps of himself sleeping with the FIFA World Cup trophy. 

The 35-year-old has been in dream land since he guided the Albiceleste to glory at the 2022 edition of thr competition in Qatar. 

Lionel Messi shared a picture of himself sleeping with the FIFA World Cup 2022 trophy following Argentina's historic victory over France on Sunday.

It was gathered that After a 3-3 draw at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar, Argentina prevailed on penalties to win their third FIFA World Cup.

The 35-year-old made the decision to keep the FIFA World Cup trophy next to his bed. This comes after the Argentine team touched down in their country for celebration. 

Reportminds Blog understands that  thousands of people stormed the streets of Buenos Aires to welcome their World Cup heros on Tuesday. 

Messi took to Instagram and posted pictures of himself cuddling up to it under the covers. 

"Good morning," he wrote.

Lionel Messi's Instagram post about the FIFA World Cup final had the most likes of any sports person history. 

The Messi's post got a surprising 58 million likes up until this point. The post has outperformed Ronaldo's post from last month, which earned 41.9 million likes and highlighted the Portuguese star and Messi playing chess in a Louis Vuitton ad before the FIFA World Cup 2022.
