Mohamed Salah has sparked reactions from his fans after he posted snap of himself and family celebrating Christmas.
The star player for Liverpool who is also a practicing Muslim continues to observe Christmas, a Christian holiday that commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.
Salah can be seen posing with his wife and two daughters in matching pajamas in front of the Christmas tree in the photo that he posted on his social media accounts with the caption "#MerryChristmas."
After the outrage and criticism that followed the 2021 version, the 30-year-old shows courage and defiance by posting his annual Christmas family photo.

The Liverpool forward shared photos of himself and his family posing in front of a large Christmas tree on Christmas Eve, dressed in matching onesies with holiday themes, as is his custom.
However, Muslim fans seemed to be offended by this seemingly innocuous act, and they took to social media to voice their displeasure with the Egyptian's Christmas celebration.
In each of the last three Christmas Eves, Salah has posted a photo of his family and received criticism, leading many to believe that he would not do so this year.
