Morocco maintained their remarkable run in Qatar by advancing to the World Cup semifinals. 

The North African side have advanced into the semi final stage of the FIFA World Cup 2022. 

The Atlas Lion, who won their group and defeated Spain and Portugal, were the first African team in World Cup history to go to the semifinals, making up for three agonizingly unsuccessful attempts.

Morocco became the first African side to achieve such record following their victory against Portugal in the quarter final over the weekend.
