For Nottingham Forest, an English Premier League team, Taiwo Awoniyi performed admirably in their 4-1 EFL Cup victory over Blackburn Rovers. 


The Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Taiwo Awoniyi put in an outstanding performance throughout the entirety of the match.  


The former Liverpool football club star's coach gave him a starting position again after he scored in their previous match, and he played well again.


Along with Brennan Johnson and Jesse Lingard, a former Manchester United player who scored in the game, the Nigerian international started the attack for his team.



Brennan Johnson of Nottingham Forest football club scored an equalizer for the away team in the 13th minute, and Scott Wharton leveled the score for the home team in the 43rd minute.



Jesse Lingard made it 2-1 in the 53rd minute, and Taiwo Awoniyi made it 3-1 in the 79th minute. Brennan Johnson scored the game's final goal in the 90th minute to make it 4- 1.
