Port Harcourt Secondary School Students Caught In Erotic Romance In Classroom

Rivers Police said that two students at the Community Secondary School in Mile Diobu, Port Harcourt, Nkpolu Oroworukwo, had been arrested for allegedly engaging in erotic acts in a separate classroom.

It was discovered that the two senior secondary school students were allegedly involved in the crime, but they had no idea that one of their classmates was filming them, according to The Punch.

Their classmate secretly recorded the erotic scene and sent it to another student via WhatsApp, drawing the attention of other students.

When a male teacher discovered the video on the phone of one of the students it had been transferred to, the situation quickly caught the attention of the school's management.

Our correspondent learned that the school administration then invited the police from the Nkpolu Divisional Police headquarters in Mile, Port Harcourt, which resulted in the detention of two students who were part of the love triangle.

A male student who took the video and another of the same sex to whom it was transferred were also arrested.

According to Mrs. Patience Nwachukwu, the school's principal, expressed her sadness and stated that the affected students were a negative influence and that such behavior could not be tolerated.
She stated, "We cannot condone that those children are a bad influence."They will have to be kicked out of the school immediately.

"I will still need to report to my boss and tell them what I plan to do.However, I believe that is the best option, as others will join if they remain unpunished tomorrow, and nothing will transpire.
The representative for the State Police Order, Elegance Iringe-Koko, couldn't be gone after her remarks as her cell phone was not interfacing as of the hour of recording this report.

In the meantime, a rights group called the Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign claimed that a parent of one of the arrested students told them about the incident.

However, Prince Wiro, the group's national coordinator, pleaded for the students to be warned and then released in a statement released on Thursday in Port Harcourt.

In addition, Wiro stated that the school ought to rise to the occasion by utilizing its own internal mechanisms and administering appropriate sanctions to the students.

He stated, "On Wednesday night (November 30), a mother of one of the arrested students informed me of the incident."

"I believe it is typically a matter that the school can handle internally through disciplinary actions. However, it is appropriate if the school administration, in its wisdom, decides to hand them over to the police as preventative measures.
However, based on the information we had, "I would have expected the police to release all the students after cautioning them," as opposed to "releasing some of the students and holding onto some."
