Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr set to propose deal with Chelsea to sign N'Golo Kante

Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia has been linked to Chelsea star N'Golo Kante for a possible move.

The French international has been plagued by injuries this season, and it appears likely that he will leave Stamford Bridge when his contract expires in the summer of 2019.

Kante has been the subject of interest from a number of teams, and it appears that the Saudi high-flyers are the front-runners to sign him.

Foot Mercato says that when Kante's contract expires at the end of the season, Al-Nassr want to bring him into their team.

The previous Leicester City man has not played since mid-August, and presently can't seem to highlight for a Graham Potter side since his arrangement as supervisor.

Graham Potter, Chelsea's head coach, made the announcement this week that Kante won't be ready to play until the end of February or the beginning of March as he recovers from hamstring surgery.
In October, the midfielder underwent hamstring surgery, putting him out of action for four months.

Since Barcelona is also interested in the midfielder, Al-Nassr will need to act quickly if they want to sign the Frenchman.

On the other hand, Chelsea will kick off their resumption of the Premier League with home game against Bournemouth.

The Blues host the Cherries at the Stamford Bridge on Tuesday December 27th, a day after Boxing in their Premier League match day 17 clash.

Chelsea currently occupy the 8th position in the Premier League table and Potter will hope for a better result in the second half of the campaign.
