Shakhtar Donetsk rejected Arsenal's £55 million offer for Mykhailo Mudryk.
According to Reportminds Blog, The Gunners are eager to bolster their front line in January.
Mudryk has emerged as Arsenal's top target for the next January transfer window, and the club has been particularly eager to strengthen their wide options.
The Telegraph reports that Shakhtar is asking for almost £85 million for its best player.
Mudryk, 21, has stated his desire to sign with the Gunners in January. The forward from Ukraine shared a photo of his computer screen while watching yesterday's 3-1 win over West Ham.
Mudryk can play on either side of the field, although his natural position is as a left winger. He has played 44 times for the first team, scoring 12 goals.
