"This number has brought me lots of magic, and I hope it will bring you the same" - Ex Liverpool and Netherlands star Dirk Kuyt sends message to Cody Gakpo who takes over shirt no 18

Former Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt has sent a message to the new Reds signing, Cody Gakpo. 

If you recall that Jurgen Klopp side have completed the signing of the 22-year-old Dutch forward from PSV. 

Cody Gakpo is one of the most sort after young players in Europe. The PSV youngster attracted interest from several European clubs following his participation with Netherlands at World Cup. 

Reportminds Blog understands that Gakpo scored three goals from five games that he played for the Netherlands national team in Qatar. 

Following his arrival at Liverpool, he has been handed jersey no 18 which was once worn by ex Netherlands forward, Dirk Kuyt. 

Taking to his social media space, Kuyt posted a picture of himself wearing Liverpool shirt with a motivational message which reads:
