Twitter employees now take toilet paper to work as Elon Musk cuts costs

As Elon Musk looks to cut costs, Twitter employees are now bringing their own toilet paper to work.

As Elon Musk implements cost-cutting measures at the company, some of Twitter's remaining employees have reportedly started bringing their own toilet paper to the office.

This month, as part of Musk's effort to cut costs, janitors who worked at the business's San Francisco headquarters were abruptly fired.

After the janitors went on strike to demand higher pay, there were the cuts.

The absence of janitors has "left the office in disarray," with bathrooms that have "grown dirty" and persistent smells of "leftover takeout food and body odor," the New York Times reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.

According to the report, some employees are bringing their own toilet paper to work because there are no janitors available to replenish supplies.

Musk allegedly shut down four Twitter offices while cramming employees onto two floors, Reportminds Blog has learnt.

According to the report, Twitter has stopped paying rent at its Seattle building, where it now faces eviction, and has missed rent payments on its San Francisco offices.

At one of its buildings in New York, the company also let go of some of the cleaners and security personnel.

Additionally, the Musk-led company is alleged to have missed or delayed paying some vendors, such as benefits provider Carrot and account firm KPMG.

According to the source, Musk is reportedly aiming to cut $500 million from Twitter's budget for non-labor costs.
