Wesley Fofana forced off with injury concerns in Chelsea's friendly game against Brentford

Chelsea star, Wesley Fofana has reportedly sustained another injury during a friendly game on Tuesday afternoon. 

A few days before the start of the Premier League, Chelsea's star player Wesley Fofana suffered yet another injury.

The France international, who reportedly paid the Blues £70 million in the summer, hasn't played since breaking his knee in October against Italian powerhouse AC Milan.

Fofana has been struggling with his fitness since he arrived at the Stamford Bridge this summer. 

If you recall that Fofana injury made him miss France outing at the just concluded 2022 World Cup in Qatar 

In a private friendly match on Tuesday, Chelsea defeated Brentford 5-1 thanks to three goals from Kai Havertz.

Although, Fofana had to leave the game early because he was having knee pain. It's been gathered that defender will need to undergo further test this week to determine the extent of the injury.
