Following an outstanding season for both club and country, Arsenal player Granit Xhaka has been voted Switzerland's Player of the Year for 2022.
The 30-year-old made the move for £35 million to join the Gunners in 2016, has been in the best shape of his life since the latter part of the previous campaign.
Granit Xhaka is the captain of the Swiss national team in addition to being a key member of Arsenal.
He has performed admirably for them over the past two years, shining at both the World Cup in Qatar at the end of last year and the Euros.
On the other side, his performances with Arsenal have been above par. Since the beginning of this season, especially, he has been outstanding for Mikel Arteta.
His teammates, both past and present, have praised him on Instagram since he received his award last night. He's one of the main reasons the Gunners are leading the Premier League table.
