Moises Caicedo has received a second offer from Arsenal of £60 million plus £10 million in add-ons, but Brighton is expected to reject it because they want £80 million for their star midfielder.
Caicedo skipped Brighton's Saturday workout as he pursues a transfer to Chelsea or Arsenal.

After Sportsmail revealed that the Ecuadorian international was considering submitting a transfer request, the player implored Brighton to let him go in an Instagram message on Friday night.

Caicedo won't participate in Saturday's morning training session or Sunday's FA Cup match against Liverpool at the Amex Stadium.

A consensus was reached by all parties that the player shouldn't participate this weekend since it is felt that he is not mentally prepared for the cup match.

Recently, Caicedo changed agents, and they are attempting to push the change through.

Prior to Tuesday's transfer deadline, Brighton insisted Caicedo wasn't for sale and turned down an initial £60 million offer from Arsenal.

According to reports, Brighton rejected Chelsea's initial offer of £55 million during this transfer window and then turned down Arsenal's most recent offer of £ 60 million, holding out for a sum of £ 80 million if he leaves before the deadline.

Caicedo hasn't ruled out filing a transfer request to force a move, according to Reportminds Blog, although Brighton aren't under any pressure to sell after letting Leandro Trossard join Arsenal for £21 million last week.

Caicedo, who has earned 28 caps for his nation, has a deal that runs until 2025. He moved from his native Independiente del Valle to Brighton in 2021 for a fee of £4.5 million.
