"Arteta should recall him from loan" - Arsenal fans urges Arsenal to call back Nicolas Pepe after missing out from Mykhailo Mudryk

Arsenal fans have taken to their social media to call for Nicolas Pepe to be recalled back from his loan spell.

The 27-year-old is currently playing at Nice in the Ligue 1, where has scored six goals from 16 games. 

Recall that the Ivory Coast international was loaned after he fell out of favour under Mikel Arteta team at Arsenal. 

Prior to Arsenal's victory over Tottenham on Sunday in the Ligue 1 matchup between Reims and Nice, north London temporarily occupied the Stade Auguste Delaune. 

In the home corner, Folarin Balogun was up against Nicolas Pepe, but the two teams had no choice in the goalless draw.

Some Gunners supporters have been using Twitter to promote the idea of recalling Pepe from his loan spell following Chelsea's hijacking of the £88 million deal for Mykhailo Mudryk.

@aZtro_dude said: "Arsenal should just recall Pepe", @DoroArsenal said: "Now Recall Pepe from his loan. He will add the needed depth. #Arsenal", 

@george_gregs17's message was "Recall Pepe @Arsenal" and @edoyak09 said: "Let's recall Pepe from loan @Arsenal. He has unfinished business. What you are looking for is just within reach sometimes."

Pepe remains Arsenal's record signing haven joined the Gunners from Lille in 2019 for £72m.
