Yan Sommer is expected to come into Julian Nagelsmann side due to injury to their experienced goalie Manuel Neuer who is out of the season.
The Germany goalkeeper picked up the injury while he was shaking after Germany exit from 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
One of the top Bundesliga goalies in recent years, Yann Sommer, is relocating from the Lower Rhine to the Isar in Munich.
Remember that Yan Sommer was once again Borussia's hero player in the 1-1 draw, save a Bundesliga-record 19 shots to win his club a point.
In Switzerland, Yan Sommer's career began with FC Herrliberg and Concordia Basel. The outstanding goalkeeper afterwards transferred to FC Basel, a major club, where Sommer advanced through all the younger teams.
The goalkeeper returned to the Red and Blues in 2010 to play in goal for the club of his boyhood following loan stints with FC Vaduz in Liechtenstein and Grasshopper Club Zürich. After serving Basel for 11 incredibly fruitful years, Sommer left in 2014 and joined the German Bundesliga.
The 25-year-old was signed by Borussia Mönchengladbach when Marc-André ter Stegen left for Barcelona, and he made an immediate impact.
