Pep Guardiola side have advanced into the fourth round of the FA Cup after their stunning 4-0 thumping of Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Manchester City dominated the game in every aspect as Graham Potter side lacked any cutting edge.

Before Julian Alvarez's penalty at the Etihad, Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga did his utmost to stop the Manchester City forward.

Kai Havertz mysteriously punched the ball clear from a corner, giving City the chance to score from the penalty spot.

Arrizabalaga exited his goal to speak with Alvarez in-depth as he got ready for his shot.

The two appeared to be having a lighthearted conversation while the goalkeeper tried to play mind tricks. They are both Spanish speakers.

Alvarez, however, managed to squeak the ball past the Blues goalkeeper and into the bottom corner to make it 2-0.

After a Riyad Mahrez free kick and an Alvarez penalty kick, Chelsea was down by three goals in the first half.

Before halftime, Phil Foden made it 3-0 for Manchester City with a straightforward goal off of a Kyle Walker pass.

After Kalidou Koulibaly fouled Foden, City added a fourth goal with a late Mahrez penalty.

Now, Pep Guardiola's team will play either Oxford or Arsenal in the fourth round.
