Chelsea set to offer Thiago Silva new deal at 39-year-old

Despite Thiago Silva shortly becoming 39, Chelsea is considering extending his contract.

Many people responded to reports that Silva will be given a new contract by saying that the player had excelled for the team and that it would be wonderful to have him sign an extension.

If you recall that Thiago Silva moved to Chelsea from Paris Saint-Germain three years ago, and since then, he has developed into one of their top players.  

Others section of his critics suggest that Silva should hang up his boots and Chelsea should concentrate on advancing the young defenders on the squad.

Although this transfer gossip is yet to be confirmed by Chelsea football club. But the 38-year-old could be out of contract in the summer.
