Eddie Nketiah made a sarcastic remark after being told to give fellow Arsenal scorer Bukayo Saka with the Man of the Match trophy.
The Arsenal striker was over looked for the man of the match award despite scoring brace in Arsenal's 3-2 win over Manchester United.
Incredibly, they defeated Manchester United 3-2 on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium.
The striking Hale End graduates Saka and Nketiah gave supporters cause for celebration as they helped the Gunners advance in yet another significant step toward winning the Premier League.
Marcus Rashford scored a beautiful first-half goal, and Nketiah quickly put the visitors on the board by tying the score with a spectacular header at the back post.
Saka scored possibly the finest goal of his short career to that point from 25 yards out to give Arsenal the lead.
However, Manchester United fought back to tie the score thanks to a valiant looping header from Lisandro Martinez.
Eddie Nketiah did, though, drive home a late winner for the Gunners to electrify the Emirates Stadium.
Although Saka won the honor after the pair's chat with Sky Sports, the English center-forward was not given the Man of the Match award despite his excellent brace.
When told to hand over the prize, Nketiah said to Saka: "Congrats mate."
However, Saka was as modest as usual, admitting that Nketiah should have received equal credit for Arsenal's triumph.
He responded: "We should actually share this."
Geoff Shreeves then concluded at the end of the interview: "I'll leave you two to argue."
Nketiah then added as he walked out of shot: "I'll take the goals then," a comment that was met with widespread laughter.
