Fancy Acholonu, an American model of Nigerian descent, claims she was coerced into publicly apologizing to his ex-fiance, actor Alexx Ekubo, months after she called off their engagement.
On December 29, 2022, Acholonu apologized for hurting her ex-fiancé Alexx Ekubo and his family via her Instagram account. The actor also expressed his gratitude for her public apology in the comment section. Acholonu was humiliated over the controversy-riddled apology. Acholonu has since asserted that she was forced into making the public apology. Acholonu said in a chat with her fans that she never wanted to talk about her personal life in public.
