Former Big Brother Naija reality star Mercy Eke responds sarcastically to the claim that she lied about her age.
The drama surrounding Mercy Eke's actual age has prompted her to respond.
Over the weekend, the reality star shared a picture of her voter's card on Twitter and urged Nigerians to get theirs as well.
In the PVC, she mentioned her age but did not include her VIN, and Twitter users used this information to look up her information on the INEC website.
After discovering that she is 32 years old on the INEC website, numerous users returned to the platform to make the claim that she had lied about her age.
Mercy's birthday post was reshared after Nigerians began accusing her of lying about her age on her last birthday in September 2022.
She returned to Twitter today to quote-tweet her initial post, unperturbed by the controversy surrounding her age.
A follower then called her out directly and she responded.
"But you're close to 40 yrs old why you dey lie for us," the follower wrote.
Mercy replied sarcastically: "I'm actually 52
