Joao Felix has been observed attending his first practice since being loaned to Chelsea from Atletico Madrid for a period of six months.
The 23-year-old was pictured at the Cobham training center undergoing his first training session.
Chelsea are preparing for their Thursday Premier League clash with Fulham as they hope to bounce back defeat to Manchester City.
The Portuguese international will stay with the London-based team till the conclusion of the current season.
Recall that Joao Felix signed a six months deal with Chelsea after reports claiming he was unhappy at Atletico Madrid.
To improve their standing this summer, Atletico even extended his contract until 2027.
The Spanish team is still trying to make money off of the £111 million transfer fee they paid to Benfica in 2019. In addition to paying his parent club £11 million to temporarily retain the 23-year-old, Chelsea will cover 100% of his salaries.
Potter said when questioned about him before of the Blues' match against Fulham on Thursday: "He's a terrific player, can make a difference in the last third of the pitch, young but clearly has had a lot of very excellent experience. Everybody benefits from his ability as a player.
It's uncertain if Felix will start against Fulham on Thursday night as they currently sit in 10 position in the Premier League table.
Chelsea on the other hand have been struck with injuries to Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic.
The two forward players are expected to be out for several weeks, Potter confirmed this afternoon.
