Man Utd defender, Tyrell Malacia Shares Photo of his 'dangerous' tackle at Alex Iwobi that injured the Everton star

Alex Iwobi, a star for Everton, was seriously hurt as a result of a risky tackle from Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia.

Everton football club have been knocked out of the FA Cup after their 3-1 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford stadium. 

Frank Lampard suffered a double blow as he lost his talisman, Alex Iwobi who was stretched out of the pitch, looking distress. 

The unfortunate incident occurred in the second half of the FA Cup match between Everton and Manchester United. The first half ended in a 1-1 draw with Anthony scoring for Everton and Conor Coady tying it up for Manchester United.

Conor Coady's own goal gave Manchester United a 2-1 lead in the second half, and Marcus Rashford's late goal made it 3-1. Alex Iwobi's unfortunate incident occurred early in the second half when Malacia dangerously tackled him. 

Despite the horrific nature of the tackle, which left the Nigerian midfielder needing to be carried off the field on a stretcher, the game's referee Darren England didn't penalize Tyrell Malacia with a yellow or red card after the foul. 

After the game, Malacia posted a picture of the tackle that might have ended Alex Iwobi's season on Instagram.

As a result of an injury sustained during Everton's FA Cup encounter against Manchester United, Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi breaks his quiet.

The former Arsenal forward reportedly sustained what appeared to be an ankle ligament damage, according to Reportminds Blog.

After the game, his manager, Frank Lampard, expressed his optimism that the injury wasn't too serious and said that the 26-year-old would undergo a scan to ascertain the severity of the problem.
