According to reports, Marvel actor Jeremy Renner is in "critical but stable condition" after suffering an injury while clearing snow at his mountain ranch home in the Sierra Nevadas, which sits on the border between California and Nevada.
The two-time Oscar nominee actor, 51, was flown to the hospital on Sunday afternoon and is reportedly in a "critical but stable condition."
His spokesperson merely called it a "weather-related accident while plowing snow" in an effort to minimize Renner's wounds.
Renner, a big-machine enthusiast who owns a variety of different sized plows, frequently shares photos and videos of himself enjoying his home in the Tahoe area while plowing his driveway.
The Mayor of Kingstown star was "receiving excellent care," according to the actor's spokesperson, and his family was by his side.
The Hawkeye-playing actor, who can be seen in The Avengers and Captain America movies, has owned a house above Lake Tahoe in Washoe County's Sierra Nevada mountains close to Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe for a number of years.
The actor could be seen having fun operating his enormous snow thrower in a video that he uploaded to his Instagram account in December.
